Sesame is called "the crown of eight grains". It is rich in fatty acids, protein and sufficient vitamin E. It is mainly distributed in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River and the Yangtze River in my country. The good climate environment in the Han River Basin provides suitable conditions for the growth of sesame. Relying on regional advantages and technological innovation, Xiangyang Sanzhen Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd. carefully screened small sesame seeds and squeezed them into sesame oil for export to South Korea, Japan, the United States, Poland, Vietnam, Hungary and other countries, allowing Sanzhen sesame oil to go abroad.

"Don't underestimate this bottle of sesame oil, which can be sold for more than 30 yuan in Poland." Yan Yi, general manager of the company, pointed to a 280ML bottle of sesame oil and said that the company exports more than 1200 tons of pure sesame oil in 255ML, 280ML, 500ML and 5kg, 16.5kg and other packages annually, and purchases 8000 tons of sesame raw materials annually. Sesame oil series alone earn more than 800 million US dollars annually.

Why is Sanzhen sesame oil so popular abroad? Yan Yi gave the answer: "The benzopyrene content of sesame oil produced by our company is lower than the upper limit of EU standards, far exceeding people's demand for health." According to reports, benzopyrene is a primary carcinogen. The maximum limit for benzopyrene content in edible vegetable oil in China is 10 micrograms/kg, while the maximum limit for this in the European Union is only 2 micrograms/kg. The benzopyrene content in Sanzhen sesame oil can be less than 2 micrograms/kg.

How is this achieved? "It depends on our technological innovation!" Yan Yi answered confidently. Yan Yi told the extreme eye news reporter that the company invests more than 2 million yuan every year for technological renovation, and a "process for reducing benzopyrene content with an annual output of 1200 tons of high-quality sesame oil" won the 2022 Hubei science and technology plan project (agricultural field).

In December 2021, Xiangyang Sanzhen Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd. also signed a China-Nepal sesame planting base agreement with Nigeria Sahel Blue Sea Investment Co., Ltd. The first phase of the project plans to plant 5000 mu as a pilot. If the cooperation is good, it will be expanded to 50000 mu in the later stage. The company provides the necessary sesame seeds, advanced planting technology and scientific management scheme for the Nigerian side. After the sesame seeds planted in the base are ripe and harvested, the company will purchase all the sesame seeds. The implementation of the project will not only greatly solve the current situation of Xiangyang Sanzhen raw materials shortage, but also further promote the high-quality development of Xiangyang's joint construction of "Belt and Road Initiative.
